“House of Cula” is a meditative journey into the soul of Torajan coffee culture—a land where coffee grows upon ancestral heritage, yet its roots are slowly eroding. Amid commodification and the fading of rituals, this film is an intimate portrait of a land that still holds on to memory, labor, and promise. From the voices in the fields to the warmth of the hearth, the film reflects on a fading heritage: what has been lost, what remains, and who will dare to carry it on?
